Bloat-free Tea 

A bloated belly can completely destroy your plans and mood like no other. What do you do when you’re supposed to be somewhere, be it a wedding or event where your dress needs to fit in perfectly? How do you banish bloat completely and not necessarily for an event but just for your own health and comfort? 

I’ve tried multiple ways to combat this and along with avoiding certain foods that you may be intolerant too, this tea recipe will help you significantly! Not only is this drink ultra soothing due to the ginger, lemon and turmeric but these ingredients contain powerful anti-bloat properties which may relieve cramps, gas and indigestion to help you digest and decompress after a meal. 

Ginger and turmeric are amazing superfoods packed full of anti-inflammatory properties that aid in healthy digestion which in turn will also help improve the health of your skin, hair and nails too. All in all, this tea works wonders and is best when you drink it first thing in the morning before breakfast. 


Serves 1

Ingredients:

1 tsp turmeric powder/ 1 tbsp fresh grated turmeric 

1 tsp ginger powder/ 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger 

1 tsp cinnamon powder 

2 tbsp fresh lemon/lime juice

1 large cup water 
Method:

In a saucepan, add in all the ingredients, the water first and mix together throughout. On medium-high heat, allow the tea to boil then simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Serve in a cup and drink up to 2-3 times a day for a week to see quick results!
